Wellbeing approach

Movement for Wellbeing focuses on improving your mobility, balance, and mental clarity through the practice of Tai Chi. Classes cater to various needs, ensuring a supportive and engaging environment for everyone.

I try to maintain the principle features of Cheng Man-ch’ing style Tai Chi but also allow for adjustments for those with mobility or health related issues - in order to more easily practice the movements.

Improve mobility

Gentle movements and focused exercises help to maintain or in some cases even increase range of movement, making everyday tasks and activities easier and more comfortable to perform.

Enhanced balance

Tai Chi significantly improves stability and helps to reduces the risk of falls, empowering you with greater confidence in your everyday activities.

Stress reduction

The meditative aspect of Tai Chi calms the mind, helping to alleviate the symptoms commonly associated with stress and promote a sense of inner peace and relaxation.

Self-development

Beyond physical benefits, Tai Chi fosters personal growth, discipline, and a deeper connection between mind and body. Additionally Tai Chi can help with improving memory and cognitive decline.
